Most promoters/tracks banned '73 and older Imperials years ago. Some places still allow them to run.  '66 and older were full frame cars with really strong trunks. '67-'73 switched to uni-body construction with removable front and rear sub frames which were similar to New Yorkers but far more beefier. '67-'73 IMPs share doors with New Yorkers but had distinct front and rear sheetmetal.
